Terms & Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Hot Interiors website (www.hotinteriors.co.uk)  and any transactions with Hot Interiors Ltd. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT, and subject to delivery charges which are indicated at the time of placing an order.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
Payment Methods

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, matching the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 10 days.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery

Due to insurance guidelines, the driver is only allowed to deliver your radiator to the nearest hard standing (pavement or driveway) and is not permitted to carry the radiators up any steps. Where a radiator is too large or heavy for one man to safely handle on his own, please ensure an able-bodied person is available at the delivery address to assist the driver.  

Deliveries will be made to the closest accessible point only; drivers are not insured to take their vehicles on roads other than public highways. Please inform us at the earliest opportunity of any unusual circumstances regarding access to your delivery address.

Delivery Charges

All delivery charges will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Mainland UK delivery charges quoted are for the majority of UK Mainland addresses.

Delivery Times

Delivery of products within mainland UK will normally be made within 3-10 working days from clearance of payment. Please note that non-stock items can take up to 4 to 8 weeks – details of estimated delivery times will be shown against products on the website. 
In addition, the delivery times is extended by a further 4 weeks in August when manufacturers in Italy close for their August holidays (2 weeks for Belgium).
We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates specified for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If our suppliers or we are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note.  In the unlikely event that your radiator is damaged or otherwise visibly faulty, please ensure that you retain all the original packaging.  We cannot accept back any radiator, on the grounds of visible damage or a visible fault, if it has been plumbed in.

Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery. We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date. If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration/restocking fee of 35% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account. Please note that any orders for non-standard products including RAL colours once acknowledged by Hot Interiors Ltd cannot be cancelled.

Cancellation of Orders

In line with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you are required to send a notice of cancellation in writing or another durable medium including fax or email (A telephone call is not enough to constitute a cancellation) within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges plus a minimum administration/restocking charge of 35% of the price of the product.   Please note that in some cases the administration/restocking charge can be as high as 50%.  It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return including you taking adequate insurance on the goods should they be damaged in transit. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked.
Orders for non-standard products including RAL colours once acknowledged by Hot Interiors Ltd cannot be cancelled.

 

Other

You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
We will not be liable in contract, tort, or for pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent misrepresentations) or otherwise for:
1) Any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
2) Any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
3) Any special or indirect losses; suffered or incurred by any party arising out of or in connection with any use of the website. Nothing in the conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants or employees.
4) Any advice or recommendation given by us or our employees or agents to you or your employees or agents as to storage, application or use of the goods which is not confirmed in writing by us is followed or acted upon entirely at your own risk, and accordingly we shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation which is not confirmed.

We cannot guarantee that the appearance/ and or colours of goods shown on this site exactly reproduces the appearance and or colours of the goods themselves, this can vary according to the resolution and type of computer screen viewed from. All sizes quoted are approximates.

No refunds will be considered if already installed unless proven to be faulty.

The conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Our privacy policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.
Hot Interiors Ltd gathers information from users of this web site automatically and when you decide to provide us with information using our electronic forms.
We also monitor this site's access log information and the connection address from the Internet address you are connecting from is automatically included within that.
Hot Interiors Ltd takes customer privacy seriously and does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any third parties. We use this contact information to send you information that we feel may be of interest about our company. Security



Hot Interiors Ltd is committed to the security of customer information and we have security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control.
Your browser will go into secure mode as soon as you access the 'checkout' or 'login' pages, i.e. before you enter any personal or payment details. You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock or a key icon in the grey bar at the bottom of your screen.

Being in 'secure mode' means that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. Encryption creates billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our site, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet. If you are using one of the more recent browser versions, our site supports 128 bit encryption and therefore keeps your details as safe as possible at all times.
